Mathiola incana subsp. melitensis confirmation

Would like to confirm that the specimen in the photos below are Mathiola incana subsp. melitensis. This is due to the woody and thick stem bases, and branching takes place more or less at the upper parts.

Yes, it must be Matthiola incana subsp. melitensis - Is this somewhere around the Dwejra area (Gozo) ? - there are quite some large plants over there.

Not much far from Dwejra - it was East of Xlendi. Thanks.

Today we cycled from Xatt L-Ahmar to Xlendi, and then to Dwejra, and there were quite a few pops of melitensis, very very beautiful indeed, in various places along the route.

Also the Helichrisum melitense is just about to flower, another very beautiful plant all year round.
