Is this the non-native described in Weber's book?

Several years ago I made the likely mistake of collecting some seeds for cultivation, now the plants seem to appear in the most unwanted places, often very close to other plants in locations where it is impossible to remove them without damaging the "main" plant's roots, since the bulbs are generally quite deep in the soil.

They flower freely and set seed just as freely, but I do wish they didn't!

hehehe MWP, I am just imagining the secret service following Sdravko through natural and urban areas, by just looking out for the trail of half-eaten plants, maybe trees even, with a bite taken out of them...

you will be amazed how often the secret service questions me about eating plants. in such cases i usually offer them a bite.

i tink thats illegal. and i dont like to spend money on the secret service. i prefer to feed them some pistacia instead.

Or you can be deviously subtle and offer them some Vitex agnus castus seeds instead

Ricinus will get you in trouble.

Vitex will get them in trouble with their wives, for a lack of "interest" shall we say...

at least that's why it's called Monk's Pepper...

with ricinus it depends if i feed them the plant or the oil. although i think even the oil will get them into deep ----.
so it will be vitex. good way to stop them breeding.
