Found this in an abandoned house's garden. No not likely that it is native, but it survives total abandonment and little water, and is highly aromatic. The dried inflorescences were arranged a lot like "habaq" or basil, but much thinner.
I went to the area to collect some cistus creticus seeds, I will now try pre-treating (heat) these to improve propagation rate.
