Some farmers should respect more their surrounding natural habitats. Throwing their wastes (in the photo large fertilizer plastic bags) in the valleys is surely not good for the environment. They should be an example to Maltese Citizens about the conservation and taking care of the environment.
With this attitude and neglegence to the environment farmers should not expect people to come to their support and protest if the PM decides one fine day, to take their agric land for development.
