Euphorbia species

Post by IL-PINE »

I found this tiny plant (around 5cm in height) in the middle of a garigue at Bahrija. It is an Euphorbia species. I think it is either - E. exigua or E. sulcata. The flowers are less than 1mm in size.
Excuse the quality of the photographs but the plant was so small! I am certainly no professional in photography and I got fed up eventually :)

Not that bad photo pine, quite detailed - I just dont like fingers in photos!

Have you considered E. peploides, I just posted about it some days ago or the similar and larger E. peplus. The leaves in the photo are not so obtuse however.

Well, I could not get a photo of the leaves, but they are lance-shaped and not ovate.

Yes Pine, I agree - the leaf shape exludes out E. peploides
