Its too nice to be a wild specuies! The leaves look to be of a succulent. Thanks for sharing Greenhorn... we wait for the diagnosis of the our experts.

I am sending the photo of the whole plant in behalf of greenhorn since she/he cannot post pics from her/his computer.

I think it is a Labiate succulent (?) ornamental plant but I leave it in the good hands and knowledge of Jackpot!

you give me some hard nuts to crack

From the first pic I thought about succulent leaves and was confused, but the 2nd pic cleared up the fact that this shrub is an ornamental from Australia: Westringia fruticosa, the Coast Rosemary. Tolerates salt spray and, therefore, is best suited as an ornamental. I remember that I saw shrubs in median strips of arterial roads (possibly Mellieha).

This little shrub lives near the street from Rabat to Zebbug right hand behind the bridge next to the roundabout. Might be,
it was brought to that place with a strong rain.
