tip: height of the plant usually 10-25cm, location garigue or similar rocky steppes, indigenous to Malta, rare!

I dont have idea too, but what are those bubble-like objects at the stem and axil. Also the flower look slimy! Is the photo of the plant in situ?

The difficulty is, that the only green parasitic plant not eating insects, I found in Malta (Gozo),
is Thesium, and that looks quite different.

This clearly shows that Malta need a good source of information about its diverse Maltese flora, not just a book of a collection of photos and a line or two of basic information as we currently have available in the our libraries. We need something more in depth like the Maltawildplants.com, but I can frankly reveal that despite all his praises on the media, the Goverment is not much interested, or as I have experienced so far.

I am in contact with the Ministry of the Rural Affairs and Environment for several months and although I can see hope, I am facing a load of reluctancy.

Now from my hard and continuous work, the O-Level / A-Level students are getting their anatomical photos, the university students are getting the detailed photos and info for their thesis, Malta is getting some tourists - and at what price? My family is getting less attention and I am having a miserable and stressful life!

Someone dares to call it fair?

I need support from all of you if you want this site and forum live longer.

greenhorn: very good, but this is Thesium (T. humile). How does your Thesium looked like? Usually, they all look like the same- almost no diversities!

Yours I would call sessiliflora, that one, I found has stems and the
habitus is a little bit like Aster sqamatus. Hope my expression is
understandable.
It is a pitty, that the only photo, I have, was taken with an analog camera and not clear .
Admin, You are able, to be happy about a small flower near Your way! Most people cannot see them, they have only the grey winter
in the moment.
