Nice Photos!

The Lantana attract a wide range of moths, butterfly and special birds!

Thanks Stephen.
I have just got into close up photography, as the camera I had before was not adequate.
Still a lot to learn though.

I agree with Stephen - very good photos.

But actually the last one is not a Geranium Bronze.

It is an excelent photo of a Long-tailed blue (Lampides boeticus).

Well spotted Haas, as usual! I have some butterflies for you when I have a bit of a bit of a bit of time.

Xilpa can I use the photo of Lampides boetica in my website with credits given to you. Do you have other photos of this species from Malta with wings open?

Thank you Hass, I now realise that the Geranium bronze is much smaller. Will amend my records and try to photograph the bronze. Not easy as it is very small and flies away when I get close.

Stephen, you can use the photo with pleasure, I can send you the original if that helps but it is 3.95MB. and not cropped. Sorry but it was the only one I managed before it flew away, and I have not seen another since.

Xilpa, thanks ! Resize the image to 1500pix wide, and send it to my email. I will resize accordingly.
