I have some guesses but let me put this question first:
Is it an albino ? (Mentha or Ballota are my top choice)

Reg: Verbascum, you have not seen it in full glory as it was these 3 days. At least 1000 flowers at one go on the 2m plant... will share this in the appropriate section of the cultivation. Neighbours

That Verbascum is really beautiful, as you now know and I also had previous experience of, when in cultivation and under good conditions the flowering is more impressive than in the wild.

Unfortunately mine are in pots as I did not assume that they would flower the first year, but in fact they are, however due to the cramped conditions mine are not half as beautiful.

My Close ups of Mentha pulegium are not that hairy (maybe its variable)... Haslam reports 2 other Mentha spp. (eg M. aquatica) any one met them?
