Thyme look alike

Post by MWP admin »

Looks like thyme but it is not the common Mediterranean thyme (saghtar). Not the leaves. Plant was a small bush with woody stems. Dont remember if Aromatic or not.

Pity did not take more photos since it was windy and at a glance I thought it is common thyme. The denseley packed leaves are interesting.

Thank you Edwin for this and all other posts you offered to submit. This was quite tricky since of the packed leaves and flowers with quite long stamens.

ok, your welcome Stephen, it is our pleasure. But answering all your questions, especially identifying all the pics may not result to the fact that you do not by my next book in spring (because within the next 3 months you know all the 500 species)

Dont worry, I will buy the book - esp if you offer some special discount for the administrator (and perhaps our dear forum members. ) :) You know Malta is passing from a hard economic time at the moment and our salaries soon would be alike those of Poland, Hungary etc!
