Do you know this tree?

Post by Sigra »

Hawn xi hadd li jaf fejn issib is-sigra?
Somewhere northwest of Valletta I suppose, but I can’t remember.
I was somewhat fascinated; I didn’t even care what kind of tree :-).
So if you know, thanks a lot.

Exactly - it is the most well-known pine tree in Malta because it resembles Jesus christ on the cross

Well I am posting for an update - last winter, a windstorm damaged seriously the tree. It ended up in the local papers and to the attention of authorities (I think the Ministry of Rural affairs) and they taken necesary measures to support and protect it.

Btw, Jesus is fine :-)
