I was wondering when and where lizards lay their eggs? In my life I never came accross their eggs. I have to admit that I do not know how the eggs look like and measure, so not even know what to expect.
Well I have noticed a couple of times eggs of geckos and camaleons, they are elongated soft-shelled eggs. The Camaleon ones are much larger in size. Geckos love to lay them in organic matter or tree bark.
last august i raptured 2 gecko by mistake while clearing some dead leaves from the floor. i then placed the geckos to dry and heat up in the sun and fortunately they survived!
i suppose that they were about to get born just the same!
