Well, I have learned that a second book was bought by a Maltese, but the Maltese bookstore told me that it was neither Il-Pine nor RB...
:(
Btw: Congratulation Il-Pine (although I am somewhat disappointed to receive this nice information behind 3 coners). Anyway: :occasion5: and my best regards to :love1:

Hi,

Recently I bought the book “Ornamental Plants of Malta”! It's great! That made me dream.
I dream that there was a botanical study trip to Malta, where we visit a selection of interesting plants (from my view mainly trees).
There could be an “over-all-guide/organiser” and additionally every participant could prepare a presentation of one/two/three plants . . .
I picture a group of people, discussing, arguing, chatting and laughing . . .

Anybody?
What do you think about?

Hi, we used to make forum meetings and excursions (during the best of the forum days), but now users do not have even time to post (to follow the comment of Jackpot in the Colchicum quiz!)

Not just one excursion. (The way to go there would be too long;-))
I’d rather thought of a “7-to-10-days-trip”.
A botanical gathering to meet plants and people on a not too highly scientific level, so that “very-interested-in-maltese-plants”-persons can follow. . .

“7-to-10-days-trip”. - from the lack of interest and involvment on the forum last months, I do not think anyone have 7-10 days available!

“very-interested-in-maltese-plants”-persons

most of them are in this forum, we are speaking of 20-30 max in the maltese islands if you follow this link:
http://maltawildplants.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=445

More sadly, the few Maltese experts in the subject DO NOT want to participate and contribute. Only a German expert and assistant is helpful (Weber / Jackpot) here.

BTW, when I opened the forum, I had your enthusiasm and view !!

Same here - I have been very busy recently - I still log in every now and then, but generally have no time to post.
