Jackpot seems to know what it is! Yes it's a tree but not a Salix or Salicaceae (no kdding!)

These were the "rapid replies" I was expecting, but none of them are correct (not even the Family). This is a quite hard quiz, but I will reveal the quiz at the end.

Now, I did some searching for “your catkin”.

Excluding all the families I already suggested I only found Broussonetia papyrifera looking similar. As it looks rather the same, my “final offer” is Broussonetia papyrifera.
