Large moth

Yesterday, whilst parking my car I found this moth resting on the wall of the garage. It was a large moth of approximately 8cm in size. I think it is Agrius convolvuli but not quite certain of its identification.

1) the first code should be [img]not[/img]

2) filename is case sensitive, the file you sent is Moth2.JPG so you have to write it exactly as Moth2.JPG

If you edit the code, it will appear instantly since the file is on the server

The upload is a bit nasty, I know; but it is until you get used to it. Also note that I have to uplaod the file personally so it may take up to 24hrs until I get to read the email

It is very nice (and large!)

I am quite sure that it is A. convonvuli as it can be confirmed by this site:

There is an amazing photo on this link which snapshot the moth flying in air and sucking nectar from a large flower.

I think it is a type of the Hawk Moth. Check it out yourself with google pics.
