Well, it wasn't difficult. Yes I found what should be Valantia hispida because the internodes were separated by more than 12mm (actually 16mm) and stem hispid (hairs were bristle-like and rough). Red data book states that was not seen after first recorded by Duthie in 1870s.

Seems like another bit of good botanical detective work. They say that the closer you look, the more you find :) Good work MWP
