its one of the difficult-to-identify Pines... 95% are replanted Pinus halepensis, but there are others like Pinus brutia, which according to some botanical books, requires examination of the needle leaves :x P. brutia have needle leaves in pairs.

P. anariensis are known of having very large cones !

Ouch that was an efficient trap :) But I do not think it's canariensis or pinea either...

well- it is Pinus brutia! The cones are not hanging down (in contrast to halepensis)

The non hanging cones is a better characteristic from the needles :-) I keep an eye !
