Well, my own town often yields unexpected surprises!

Last word which is covered with grass is Qaqocc.
Well to the Maltese the message is clear, for the foreigners watching this, for politeness sake I may say that it is a warning for people not to cut Globe Artichokes!

May I add that the whole "protected" area is covered in red crosses...

Wied tas-Siggiewi... Maybe he's a Qormiz too!!
