I have difficulty to place this Malvaceae species. Any suggestions?

The epicalyx do no seem to be cut to the base, so it should be a Lavatera; and from the 3 spp. we have, then it must be cretica. I am not sure about my conclusion because usually L. cretica is a bit different and paler! hmm...
