Convolvulus deformatus????

The habitus and size are like Convolvulus ( arvensis? ), but what happened to the flowers? Or is it something else???

Hmmm.. needs some expert eyes. Was there only one plant like that or many specimens or an entire population? The former would lead to a possible one-off case of mutation/malformation. Apart from that I can't help much on this one.

Might be four to six plants sticking together like a bush.
