Never ending grasses (spp2/3 May05)

Post by MWP admin »

Another Poacea taken in May. Looks very possible to be Lophocloa cristata (Weber&Kendzior pg.80) but I would like a +ve or -ve confirm!

is it the one we saw at Mellieha MWP?

I am trying to guess it is Polypogon maritimus.

Thanks Pine and HCW, another one to tick in.

Yes Pine, I am still backlogged from beg of May with grasses, but most others are done. Spent a whole day sorting, renaming, deleting, comparing, flipping pages, browsing websites, and posting those that I give up.

Now I can enjoy a bit of Miranda at last. Sometimes I ask why I am doing this? Do you too?

Tomorrow coding day. :)

well, I too am still trying to identify the plants I have photographed. I always ask the same question MWP, but I always am satisfied by what I achieve.

your work is appreciated by all of those attending the forum.
