Large Colourful Wasp

Large Colourful Wasp
I often encounter this large colourful wasp mostly on large flowerd asteraceae like the Cynara. What is it pls? Hope its friendly

That i think , is the large yellow-banded Scolid wasp probably male due to its size. Yes it does like to visit the wild artichoke plants. It is also a predator because it feeds on the larvae of the rhino-beetle by digging in the wood(?). Its venom is special since it acts on the nervous system of the insect and so paralyzing him.
It's also fairly common and perhaps it's the reason why the rhino-beetle ain't that common.
Oh yes the scientific name: Megascolia flavifrons.

yeah thanks roby that's my larval stage. oh when i look back to those days. haaaaaaaaa (sigh)
Btw pine i'm not that great, thing is i have a good book and i really like fauna and every insect i see i look it up on the internet and learn about it. Every ruddy insect!!!
