Nice colour, wonder whether the variety or the temperature, as they 'common' variety can have some violet in it and at this time of year maybe it is more obvious.
There are some highly fascinating passiflora sp and varieties, some are amazing, in shape and colour, surprised we don't get them here - the most "exciting" I have seen to date is a dark violet flowered version
to give you a hint about the location, they are extremely difficult to photograph. the specimen in st anton are quite unusuall but i never studied them.
i never understood why all the other passiflora are so rare in Malta, expecially the edible ones. they are delicious and as beautiful as coerulea.
