Chorisia speciosia, Silk floss tree.

I always try to get some seeds, and this year I managed ;-)

but only about 3!!

Need to catch the fruit as it drops from the tree, very similar to stefanotis and also internally with the famous "fluff" ;-) hence the common english name.

Best to look out for the fruits probably around June, July, exactly the time that you would not imagine going to San Anton.

In Mar/April I will plant them.

once i photographed a chorisia fruit in st anton and although it was on the end of a thin, long twig 3 m above ground it wa nibbled by rats. though i hate them i have to admire them.
