Honey Drops

I have came accross these honey coloured eggs placed neatly on leaves of a plant at Dingli/Buskett region. Could anyone reckognize them. In the woody shrub, there was a green praying mantis and I wonder if it is its laid eggs ?!

These eggs where shining in the sun as if made of bronze. About 2mm long.

As far as I know praying mantis lay their eggs in a mass of bubbles which then harden an become papery.
I think that they are butterfly eggs, as they seem to be quite large in size, although I am not certain!!
