Asteraceae.

Looks like a Helichrysium or a Phagnalon species.

I think it is Helichrysium too (but I am not the expert!)

Its nice to see that this rare endemic plant colonizes disturbed ground. Or was it planted?

No it does not look like it was planted, there are quite a good number of specimens in the area and I just happened to take a photo of 2 against a wall.

It's not really disturbed ground either, sure there is a track of sorts by the side of the wall but that's about all the disturbance.

I'm hoping to see some results from the seeds that I planted!
