ornamentals seem still not much beloved in this forum, so, I`ll try with this plant, which is pretty common in Malta`s wilderness!

1. therefore I asked the 2nd publisher not to write a vitae
2. yes, the plant is pretty wild (therefore the title) but also cultivated
3. yes, the plant is hard (therefore the song)
a. hard to find out
b. hard in some parts (woody)
4. no insect killers (they are vegetarians)
5. I did not say that it is a flower, MWP
6. no Urticaceae
7. no fruit
8. not a monocot, but good idea: pic reminds myself an epiphytic orchid like e.g. Bulbophyllum

I know that this is really difficult because it is so easy- it is very common (hundreds of thousands in Malta), everyone has seen it but not really recognized, and it is not small- size in nature about 1/5 of this pic.
Like the muppet of MWP- nature has so many interesting things which we all do ignore. I am sure that I never would find out what it could be, except I would not have make the pic by myself. Nevertheless, continue to try- there are never bad ideas...
