Grass species at San Anton

Took this photo at San Anton last week. Not sure if it is a wild specimen or planted. Can anyone identify it? This group is rather tricky and very seldom tackled well in identification books :cry:

Looks like Pennisetum alopecuroides, an ornamental (will be possibly included in the expanded edition in about 3/4 years.
