ononis

I always tend to overlook these little plants ...this is 3 to 6 inches high ...flower 8mm - 1 cm ...it looks like ononis and is sticky like big brother natrix - is it Ononis ornithopodioides perhaps ?
no other idea quite frankly

jack - why pretty young if in flower ?
all plants in the area were about same size 4 -7 inches tall

I got the impression that it is young and could be develop to a shrub (like Ononis natrix...where young plants look like this one).. You should try to make later a pic of ripe fruits.

quite sure its sieberi since everything that looks like that one turned out to be sieberi but having the plant is sometimes better
