Quiz
Hi all- the administrator never gave the answer to his picture- was my answer right, Stephen? I also like to play this quiz with you all- anyone who knows this plant? Unfortunately, there are no prices to win, but the answer will be given latest at the end of this month. In general, this kind of educational quiz seems to me a good idea...

Quite difficult one
I should start asking already for tips here.
Is it a succulent plant?

Is it the Mesembryanthemum thing? It looks like a curious flower.
Never seen anything like it.

ok- in Germany, we say cold if the answer is wrong and warm...hot if the answer comes closer to the truth. Mesembryanthemum: very cold! Also, the plant is not succulent. I am quite sure that you all know this plant from the wild. The picture shows only 1 flower but there are many flowers arranged in the inflorescence.
Quiz HC Weber
Could it be Allium commutatum?
Liliaceae?
Symmetry of flower is 6-merous and the globose carpel and stout style reminds me a bit of some Liliaceae members, which have some spicy vegetables too.
How warm is getting ?

Thanks!
Bravo to you as well Weber - It is a quite rare variety and the pic is good detailed (talking of a 4mm flower here)
Hope when the time comes, you can indicate where I can trace these rarities for profiling + Photo session.
Now I am working on 2 species simultanously, nothing rare or special but both one species per genus found in Malta. However the rain spoiled the day for photography, so i stayed coding the html pages.
Now prepare another quiz for us! Maybe we put these quizes in special topic (Category)?!?
