Argotti plant
I was always curious to find out what this large plant was on entering the Argotti gardens. And then I went to take a few photographs.

Euphorbia sp.
At Argotti and surrounding gardens there are 2 similar sp, E. tirucalii and what appear to be big E. aphylla plants. You plant might be aphylla. But since most big succulents in these gardens seem to be from the time of Borg and the elc does not label most plants (what a pity) its hard to say. They are over 1000 Euphorbia species (arguably the biggest plant genus) so id of plants in bot gardens without knowing the origin and without literature s not easy.
