This is a photo of the next plant I am working on. Quite strange shape for the general flower! Let see who will guess what species it is.

Yes, exactly HC Weber; the photo shows male flowers of the monoecious plant - Xanthium strumarium.

Since
(i) you said it 8) and
(ii) in a determined way,
I thought that there is no need to confirm it!

(ii) there is no Maltese name, as far as I know.
