Seeds of arum vulgare

Post by MWP admin »

Do anyone have photos or real seeds of arum vulgare (Garni tal-Pipa) to include in the profile. I never manage to get hold of a ripe fruit in the wild?!

The only thing, I could offer You, is a place on Gozo, where You
find Arisarium vulgare in all stages of life from Nov. to Feb. The path is only used by sheep, and they never eat this plant.

Thanks , the plant is very common everywhere but I always miss the seeds. They would be ripe in May I think. In this month the leaves will be already gone dead and it would be difficult to locate the fruits, probably the stalks would already have collapsed down.

Buskett (Malta) is full of them and I should be more careful this year.
