Had no clue in what section I should put my question. Stephen, if you want to move it to somewehre else, no problem.

I just learnt, that the expression “injama ta' l-abjadâ€￾, refers to the Picea (Picea abies?). However I couldn't find, to what tree refers the expression “injama ta' l-aħmarâ€￾. Does anyone know more about this?

Now, I wonder, are these "patterns" artificial and of no importance or are these fossilised plants? And if so, do you happen to know what plant this is?

Near Mosta we found a plant where we are not sure, have different meanings, what kind of plant this is.
Seems to be no maltese wild plant. Maybe some kind of Delphinium / Pedidalwett? What do you think?

To me these two plants don’t look identical; I rather think the second one could be a Campsis radicans, not sure.

I dont really know, maybe this will help you… Spring water was provided from the water-table under the Main street "Strada Reale", pass through the Grotto of Our Lady of Mellieha "Strada Nona" and kept running until reaches the valley spring at "Wied tal-Madonna". http://sites.google.com/site/maltes...
