A pregnant tree !!

Chorisia speciosia, Silk floss tree.
I always try to get some seeds, and this year I managed
but only about 3!!
Need to catch the fruit as it drops from the tree, very similar to stefanotis and also internally with the famous "fluff"

hence the common english name.
Best to look out for the fruits probably around June, July, exactly the time that you would not imagine going to San Anton.
In Mar/April I will plant them.

once i photographed a chorisia fruit in st anton and although it was on the end of a thin, long twig 3 m above ground it wa nibbled by rats. though i hate them i have to admire them.
