Does anyone know this plant/plants? A and B look very similar, apart from the fruit. The pictures taken in October, pots in front of houses in San Giljan.
Thanks Sigra

they are all from the family Solanaceae.
last 2 photos are what we call Bzar - Capiscum sp.
first 2 not really sure what they are but probably similar!

I think all 4 are same species (Capsicum) but different fruiting stages. Check Capsicum annuum if you think the plants were annual. Also it could be different varieties since the chili pepper exist in many fruit forms and chili strength

Thanks a lot to both of you.
The link is very helpful. Didn’t think the fruits vary as much.

No, not different stages but different forma- try to taste the fruit: if it is very sharp it is
Capsicum annuum var.
annuum (Maltese: Bżar ikkulurit or Bżar ħelu) if it is really hot

(I suppose all 4 pics) it is
Capsicum frutescens (Maltese: Bżar aħmar or Felfel)
