Soon reaching an end for my ID Stuff. Whole day sorting photos.
Can you help me on this one: I believe this is Carex. Found in a shallow water course / mud.

Yep I think you are correct on this one - one of the few grass species I could identify after doing comparisons on the net

grasses are a pain in the derriere however...

Same here, for the time being I am putting aside Cyperaceae, yellow-flowered Asteraceae, grasses and Fumarias. The grasses (Poaceae) are not impossible though their ID depends on minute morphology in several cases.
