Ornamental Verbenaceae ? Spring 08

I could not find this aromatic plant in Weber's book either. It should be some imported Verbenacaea / Lamiaceae plant (at least those were the families I checked for in the book). I have a suspect on Lavendula/Salvia spp.

This one was from Zebbug, Gozo, last Spring
