I take it that grows in the time it's owner is at work i.e. between taking the car out of the garage and returning in the evening

Quite a nice carpet there, I have been trying for the same result but that plant needs constant humidity in the summer to maintain growth, so very disappointed by mine - brown and shrivelled.

The world is so strange - who does not need this plant in his territory is cursed with lots of it, and who wants carpets of it gets little :-) lol!

NB1 - Not for RB and experts, but this plant is Aptenia spp.

NB2 - for RB and experts - is there really a difference between Aptenia cordifolia and Aptenia lancifolia? Weber 2008 remarks on a petiole for the latter, but in the same plant I often see leaves with and without petioles. Also leaves with heart-like lance shape and leaves with lance-like heart shaepe in same plant! :pukeright:
